I recently read this blog post about there being no excude for not writing. While I find the term “want to be” writer derogitory, I am game. I’ll admit I find it more and more difficult to write regularly. But its a choice I make. I can’t really blame any one or any thing.
The blog post I mentioned suggest you start by writing 20 minutes, 4 days a week. I think that’s a doable goal. You can do that on your lunch break, before you go to work, or before you go to bed. Or while your sitting in front of the tube.
This is great advise, and I imagine you can try building up to 30 minutes, then 40, and I bet you and I will find more time to write.
“remember what my friend Ken Rand says; let them say your not a writer, but never let them say you don’t write.”
